From the desk of KR Fraser:

When I set out to write this bio, as so many people expect any artist (author, actor or actress, etc.) to do, I expected it was going to be the usual "I grew up here, I went to school there, and I was influenced by so and so." Well, I'm not your usual person, so let me simply tell you that my life, like so many others, has had its share of adversities and triumphs, its heartaches and  joys, and its ups and downs. There were times when I felt I could not have fallen any lower into the darkness that had filled my life. I have had friends that have betrayed me and loved ones that have torn my life apart, and I have endured more than one broken heart. However, through it all, there was always a light waiting at the end of each tunnel. I have made new friends, found new love, and said hello to new little faces when they take their first breath. Over time I realized that all life is change. There is no constant other than your will to see it through to what comes next. What is the next chapter? Where does my story go from here? If you throw in the towel... if you quit... then you will never know where that road could take you. You simply have to have the courage to follow it.

I turned my writing, music, talents and creativity toward making something beautiful out of what I found to be very ugly. At some point I realized that the darkest moments of my life, all those obstacles, had made me stronger, smarter, and more capable of facing the challenges of tomorrow. Now, I am chasing the future with everything in me. When I get tired, I slow down and breathe, but I never quit. I will keep on going. That is where true strength lies... not in your body, but in your spirit, and my spirit knows how to fly.

Biography - K.R. Fraser

K.R. Fraser spent her early years in Europe and visited multiple countries, experiencing different cultures around the globe. She is fluent in three languages and knowledgeable in four more. She spent much of her quiet time reading books by authors such as H. Beam Piper, J.R.R. Tolkien, R.A. Salvatore and many more. She began composing music at age eleven, though it would not be until later years that she seriously pursued releasing any of these.

The influence of literature on her life began very early, and by age fourteen, she had written her first collective journal of poetry, several of which were published worldwide in later years. At age sixteen, she began working on short stories and journalism. By the time she graduated High School, she had already been published in several small magazines and newspapers. After graduation, she worked as a writer for an etiquette magazine for several years until her interest took her in a new direction. Her first short story in the horror genre, “The Cycle” was published in 2006 and presently remains in circulation. She has since published several other short stories, poems and articles across multiple platforms both online and in print.

She completed her first Associate’s degree in multimedia in 2009, and then went on to achieve her Bachelor’s and Master’s in the media industry over the course of the next four years.

In her early twenties, she began developing what would later become an epic saga of amazing proportions, and the first groundwork for Draegonstorm was created. Told as tales at bedtime to her children, the beloved characters we know today were born and the amazing world surrounding this epic fantasy began to take shape. As with all her other publications, she worked to perfect every detail surrounding this incredible world, until she had completed dozens of character bios and timelines, along with several compendiums on the society and laws included in the series. She also wrote a full language compendium detailing the usage of the language she created specifically for this series.

Today, she has produced and published multiple pieces of music, published multiple articles, poems and short stories, and has completed her first full series. A successful business owner and entrepreneur, she still manages to find time to pursue hobbies and life with her family.

“Writing is a passion that will live until I close my eyes for the last time.” – K.R. Fraser

"I am an artist who lives on a farm in the middle of nowhere in the Canadian prairies. I specialize in digital art, but I also enjoy working with traditional mediums. I have been drawing most of my life, but it was during high school when I really started focusing on improving my skills. I enjoy attending art shows and entertainment conventions where I occasionally display and sell my art. I am a quiet person and am usually just found working quietly at home. My spare time, however, is spent on hobbies, which are a big part of my life." - Leah
